Job Summary
We are seeking a **Junior Medical Officer** to support medical underwriting and claims processes.
The role involves reviewing medical information, assisting with risk assessment, and providing medical insights to support insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical reports, lab results, and health declarations.
- Assist in medical underwriting for health and life insurance policies.
- Support claims team by assessing medical aspects of insurance claims.
- Coordinate with Underwriters to support policy decisions and approvals.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Life Sciences
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer proficiency (MS Office).
Skills Required
- Experience in insurance or medical underwriting.
- Knowledge of local healthcare system in Qatar.
