Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan the layout and installation of residential plumbing, water supply, and drainage systems.
- Install and maintain water supply systems, drainage lines, and plumbing fixtures.
- Cut, assemble, and install various pipes and fittings with attention to existing infrastructure (PVC, HDPE, MS flanges, fittings, junctions, and valves from to 36 ).
- Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems.
- Locate, diagnose, and repair visible and hidden leaks and clogged drains using advanced techniques and equipment.
- Inspect and test systems for safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.
- Respond to client queries, attend scheduled appointments, and emergency call-outs as needed.
- Provide basic advice to clients on reducing water consumption and improving system efficiency.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets required safety and performance standards.
- Accurately document work completed, materials used, and observations.
- Assist in preparing job estimates and project budgets when required.
- Maintain a clean, respectful, and professional presence in clients homes.
- Lead and mentor junior plumbers and technicians.
, Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Junior Mechanical Engineer.
- Solid understanding of water supply distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances.
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment such as pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, and plungers.
- Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex plumbing faults efficiently.
- Proficiency in reading plumbing blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and plumbing regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and patient when dealing with clients.
- Physically fit and able to work in tight or awkward spaces.
- Trade certificate, diploma, or successful completion of a plumbing apprenticeship.
- Valid license to practice the profession in the UAE (if required).
- UAE driving license (preferred).
