Role Description
This full-time, on-site Junior Interior Architect role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Junior Interior Architect will support senior designers and architects in developing interior concepts, preparing drawings, and coordinating design details.
Daily tasks include assisting with space planning, producing floor plans, elevations, and 3D visuals, and selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings.
The role involves preparing presentation packages, updating project documentation, and collaborating with contractors and suppliers during interior fit-out stages.
The Junior Interior Architect will also participate in site visits, track design changes, and help ensure that project standards, timelines, and budgets are met.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Interior Architecture, with the ability to translate design concepts into clear drawings and documentation.
- Demonstrated skills in Interior Design and Interior Fit-out, including material selection, finishes, and coordination with contractors and vendors.
- Proficiency in Space Planning, with the ability to optimize layouts for functionality, safety, and aesthetics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field.
- Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Vector, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic graphic tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work respectfully in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to conduct site visits, coordinate with suppliers, and learn local codes and regulations relevant to interior projects in the UAE.
