We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Hvac Service Technician
- to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of HVAC systems while ensuring high-quality service and adherence to safety standards.
- This role is suited for individuals with foundational HVAC experience who are looking to grow their technical skills in a professional environment.
- ****Role Responsibilities****
- Independently diagnose and repair various HVAC equipment and components, including but not limited to:
- + Air-cooled and water-cooled systems up to 1000 tons
- + Hot water boilers up to 200 HP
- + Hydronic and piping systems
- + Air conditioning units of various sizes
- + Pumps, air handling units, cooling towers, spot coolers, gas heaters, controls, and electrical components
- Perform start-ups, shutdowns, teardown, and basic commissioning of HVAC systems
- Maintain accurate field service documentation, including:
- + Service reports
- + Refrigerant tracking logs
- + Timekeeping records
- Use power tools, hand tools, and mechanical equipment safely and effectively for servicing and repairs
- Operate service vehicles and equipment, including forklifts when required
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from trucks
- Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers at all times
- Support general business operations, including:
- + Inventory checks
- + Equipment maintenance
- + Cleaning and organization of work areas
- Provide potential sales leads and promote company products and services to customers
- Support onboarding and training of new or junior staff when required
- Strictly follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols at all times
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 0–2 years of relevant HVAC experience (junior-level position)
- Basic understanding of commercial HVAC systems preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
