The Junior Graphic Designer supports design and production of annual reports, sustainability and ESG reports, corporate profiles, and other long-form corporate publications.
The role focuses on layout, typesetting, and production within established design directions, visual systems, and brand guidelines.
The designer works with senior designers and the wider Corporate Reporting team to deliver reports within tight timelines.
Responsibilities
- Support design and production of annual reports and corporate publications.
- Create and refine page layouts, maintaining accuracy and visual consistency.
- Perform typesetting and maintain typographic standards throughout documents.
- Prepare master pages, styles, grids, and document structures in InDesign.
- Organize content flow for large multi-page documents.
- Ensure visual elements align with brand guidelines.
- Apply feedback from senior designers and stakeholders efficiently.
- Assist with final artwork and files for print and digital delivery.
- Collaborate with the design team to maintain quality and meet tight timelines.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
- 2–3 years of professional graphic design experience; editorial design, layout, or print production experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of typography, grids, and layout principles.
- Experience with multi-page documents is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of print production processes is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency, particularly in English and Arabic, is preferred.
