Responsibilities

  • Design and build full stack features for a reconciliation platform using Java, Angular, NoSQL, and Oracle.
  • Identify and define system enhancements by analyzing and interpreting existing code and scripts.
  • Consult with users, clients, and other technology teams to recommend and implement programming solutions.
  • Apply core programming principles to translate design specifications into working software.
  • Analyze applications to detect vulnerabilities and security gaps, then test and debug fixes.
  • Coach junior developers and analysts on technical approaches and best practices.
  • Evaluate technical issues and select solutions based on established engineering experience.
  • Assess risk in technical decisions and escalate control issues with transparency to safeguard Citi and its clients.
  • 2-5 years of relevant software development experience, ideally within financial services.
  • Hands-on development experience with Java and Angular in a full stack environment.
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL and Oracle database technologies.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a technical setting.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills

2-5 years of relevant software development experience, ideally within financial services.

Hands-on development experience with Java and Angular in a full stack environment.

Working knowledge of NoSQL and Oracle database technologies.

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a technical setting.

Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities under pressure.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
