Junior Full Stack Web Developer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Build UI web applications with Angular 10+ and use TypeScript in Node.js to support front-end features.
• Use agentic coding tools, such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, for development, testing, and documentation.
• Write automated unit and end-to-end tests for UI features.
• Contribute to detailed design documentation and test plans under senior guidance.
• Work within CI/CD and Agile software development processes, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Collaborate with UX, product, development, DevOps, and test teams; grow into writing Lambda functions and back-end services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another compatible field.
• 0–2 years of related experience; recent graduates are welcome. Co-op, internship, and capstone experience are valued.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver working software through coursework, internships, co-op terms, or personal or academic projects.
• Working proficiency in Angular 10+, CSS, HTML5, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Node.js and consuming RESTful or cloud-based APIs from the front end.
• Interest in or hands-on experience with AI-assisted or agentic programming tools is welcomed.
• Back-end exposure or interest in serverless/Lambda, NoSQL/DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch is a plus; training is provided.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally on AWS.
