Responsibilities
- Review mechanical equipment drawings and layouts for water treatment systems, including pumps, flanges, filtration units, piping, and valves.
- Perform material and quantity take-offs from approved drawings and technical specifications using AutoCAD or PDF documents.
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, proposal support materials, and technical and commercial estimation documents.
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to verify material requirements.
- Maintain cost databases, supplier quotations, and estimation templates.
- Complete estimation work accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines.
- Remain available for emergency work requirements during holidays or after normal working hours when instructed by the team lead.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience preparing BOQs and interpreting mechanical drawings used in the water treatment industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of water treatment mechanical equipment, including flanges and pumps, is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency and good communication and coordination skills are required.
- AutoCAD skills are preferred.
