Responsibilities

  • Participate in track and/or alignment design for railway projects.
  • Prepare drawings from alignment models according to project standards and prepare quantity take-offs.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to meet client requirements.
  • Use design guidelines and national or international codes.
  • Consult with engineers and senior engineers to achieve the desired output.
  • Meet deadlines and discuss potential delays in advance with the senior or lead engineer.
  • Extract design reports from software and prepare reports with engineering colleagues.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the team lead or delegate.

Qualifications

  • BE/B.Tech degree; postgraduate study is an added advantage.
  • Should have worked on Indian and/or international projects.
  • Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D, Bentley Power Rail Track, OpenRail Designer suite, or similar software.
  • Basic alignment design knowledge is expected.
  • Alignment model creation by regression, site experience, and Provi knowledge are added advantages.
