We are looking for a Junior Energy Trader to join our team in Dubai.
About The Role
You will work directly alongside experienced traders, helping monitor markets, execute trades, analyze opportunities, and develop a deep understanding of global energy flows and derivatives markets.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in trading and is prepared to invest significant time learning the craft.
Responsibilities
- Monitor global energy markets and market-moving developments.
- Support senior traders in trade execution and position management.
- Analyze pricing relationships across energy products and regions.
- Build and maintain trading models, spreadsheets, and analytical tools.
- Track market structure, spreads, and fundamental developments.
- Assist with post-trade analysis and performance reviews.
- Contribute ideas and research that can improve trading performance.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in energy trading, commodities, derivatives, brokerage, market analysis, or a related field.
- Understanding of futures, swaps, options, or physical energy markets.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong intellectual curiosity.
- High levels of discipline and personal accountability.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Competitive mindset and desire to continuously improve.
