Join the development team to help advance the roadmap for the company's cloud-based solutions.
The role supports software development, infrastructure, operational systems and DevOps practices.
What the role involves
- Work cross-functionally to support software development and automate maintenance and deployment using Infrastructure as Code.
- Support scalable, reliable infrastructure and implementation of security standards and organizational policies.
- Monitor and support operational systems; improve DevOps practices and processes.
- Research new technologies and processes.
Desirable skills and education
- Relevant degree-level education or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Cloud technology experience or understanding, including AWS, Azure or GCP, is desirable.
- Programming or scripting experience, such as Python, is desirable.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools such as configuration as code and CI/CD is desirable.
- Exposure to software development practices and version control systems is desirable.

Salary
- Starting salary is £30,000 or higher depending on experience, skills and qualifications.
Employment and schedule
- Permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible start between 8am and 10am and finish between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
Workplace
- Hybrid working is available, split between the Birkenhead office and home working.
