Junior Data Scientist (Remote/UAE)

About the Opportunity
- A UAE-based organization is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support data-driven initiatives and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and actionable insights
- Develop and evaluate basic machine learning models
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business and analytical needs
- Document workflows, methodologies, and findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Working knowledge of SQL and database querying
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, academic, or project experience in data science or analytics
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
