OneFamily is hiring a Junior Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The role builds and supports data pipelines, integrations and cloud-based data products in Azure, translating business requirements into solutions that support strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and maintain data pipelines and ELT/ETL processes.
- Use SQL and modern Azure tools to create secure, scalable data solutions.
- Contribute to technical design, testing, deployment and production support.
- Work with engineers, analysts, architects and change colleagues in an agile environment.
- Improve data quality, reliability and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Practical experience in data engineering, software development, analytics engineering or a related technical role.
- Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modelling and source control.
- Be methodical, curious and proactive, communicate clearly and demonstrate commitment to quality.
- Exposure to Azure, dbt, Python, Terraform, Power BI or CI/CD is welcome but not essential.
