Role overview
Plans, designs, builds, and maintains infrastructure such as roads, bridges, dams, and water systems.
Manages projects from feasibility studies and site surveys through detailed design and delivery.
Core responsibilities
- Develop detailed plans, blueprints, and models using CAD.
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, risk assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Manage budgets, resources, timelines, and coordination with clients, contractors, and architects.
- Oversee construction for adherence to plans, codes, and quality standards.
- Ensure legal, health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Prepare reports, specifications, project documentation, and cost estimates.
Qualifications and skills
- Requires a BE or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; civil diploma candidates are not considered.
- Requires proficiency in engineering software such as CAD.
- Requires at least 1 year of residential building construction experience.
- Calls for problem-solving, mathematical, analytical, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, attention to detail, project management aptitude, and commercial awareness.
Compensation and benefits
- Monthly pay is ₹35,000–₹40,000.
- Benefits include paid sick time and Provident Fund.
