Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field an asset
- Experience with commercial or mixed-use properties an asset
- Working knowledge of basic electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing, and general building maintenance
- Experience using power tools and operating equipment such as front-end loaders an asset
- Working towards or interest in obtaining a 5th Class Power Engineering certification an asset
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, contractors, and internal teams
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
- Ability to identify maintenance issues and determine when assistance or escalation is required
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and ability to provide a clear drivers abstract
- Ability to provide a criminal record check free from relevant convictions.
