Requirements
- What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of professional experience as a backend or full-stack developer, in any language
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, debugging, and problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to learn new languages/frameworks quickly — Java/Spring Boot experience is a plus but not required, and we expect you to ramp up fast with the help of modern AI-assisted development tools
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while communicating proactively
- A growth mindset — comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback, and building toward greater ownership
- Nice to have:
- Working knowledge of Java and Spring / Spring Boot
- Some exposure to AWS or another major cloud provider
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects you can speak to
- Location & Logistics
- Remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in or near the US Eastern time zone
- Full-time
Benefits
- This is a full-time W-2 position with a salary of $85,000 to $110,000 per year.
