We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented
Junior Architect
with a strong
Civil Engineering background
to join our growing team specializing in
villa renovations, extensions, and structural modifications
.
This role is ideal for someone who combines design sensibility with technical and site execution knowledge, and is passionate about transforming residential spaces into high-quality, functional environments.
The ideal candidate will be capable of supporting both the
design and technical execution
of projects, ensuring that architectural intent is delivered accurately while meeting structural, regulatory, and construction requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing
- architectural design concepts, layouts, and technical drawings
- for villa renovation and modification projects.
- Interpret and coordinate
- architectural, structural, and construction documentation
- to ensure design feasibility and constructability.
- Prepare, review, and update
- drawings, shop drawings, detailed design packages, and as-built documentation
- .
- Conduct regular
- site inspections
- to monitor progress, workmanship, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure project execution complies with
- quality standards, health & safety requirements, and local building regulations
- , including Dubai authority requirements.
- Prepare and manage
Requests For Information (Rfis)
- , technical clarifications, and site coordination documentation.
- Identify design clashes, technical conflicts, and on-site issues, and propose practical solutions in coordination with senior team members.
- Coordinate closely with
- architects, civil engineers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Support authority submission processes and assist with permit-related documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in
Architecture
,
Civil Engineering
- , or a related field.
- Civil Engineering background or strong technical understanding of structural and construction systems is highly preferred.
- **Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved G+1 License**
- (preferred / mandatory depending on role requirements).
- Experience in
- villa renovation, residential fit-out, structural modification, or construction projects
- is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to interpret
- architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- .
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, with knowledge of 2D drafting and technical detailing.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and visualization tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and site execution processes.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
