About the Role
We are looking for a motivated
Junior AI Engineer
to join our growing AI team in Lahore.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using modern frameworks and tools such as
LangGraph, LangChain, RAG, React, Node.js, and Docker
.
You will work on developing intelligent applications, AI agents, multi-agent workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that solve real-world business problems.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies and gain experience building production-ready AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and agentic systems.
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Develop workflows and multi-agent architectures using LangGraph and related frameworks.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with internal and external tools and APIs.
- Build backend services and APIs using Node.js.
- Develop frontend features and interfaces using React.
- Containerize applications using Docker and assist with deployment processes.
- Work with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 1ā2 years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with
LangGraph
and/or
LangChain
- .
- Experience building and deploying
- RAG-based applications
- .
- Strong understanding of
JavaScript/TypeScript
- .
- Experience with
Node.js
- backend development.
- Experience building frontend applications using
React
- .
- Familiarity with
Docker
- and containerized development workflows.
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search concepts.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building AI agents or multi-agent systems.
- Familiarity with LangSmith, MCP, AI evaluation frameworks, or observability tools.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience deploying AI applications into production environments.
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal AI projects.
