Junior Accountant

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare regular financial and management reports.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Assist with payroll administration and employee-related accounting records.
• Support monthly closing procedures and financial reporting.
• Liaisoning with banking and local DMCC authorities
• Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records.
• Coordinate with management on reporting requirements and business performance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Candidates from Tamil Nadu, India, are preferred.
• UAE experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
