Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance department in ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recording daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records and documentation.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports and schedules as required by management.
- Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents.
- Assist with audits and tax-related documentation when required.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- **Proven experience and proficiency in QuickBooks is required.**
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
