Role overview

Accounting duties

• Assist with month-end closing, general ledger maintenance, accruals, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, payments, and records.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and correctly code and categorize financial transactions.
• Generate balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify cost savings and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting and maintain internal controls over financial data.
• Stay current on accounting standards and regulations; may assist with audits or tax preparation with external professionals.
• Perform other assigned accounting duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 2,000 per month.

• Work is in person.
