About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and entry-level candidates who are looking to build a career in accounting and finance.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, financial record keeping, reconciliations, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Maintain vendor and customer records.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.
- Verify invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain organized filing of financial documents.
- Assist with VAT-related documentation and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
& Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and book keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering, basic reporting).
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of accounting software is an advantage but not required.
- Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
