We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day accounting and financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting principles and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
- **Bookkeeping:**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper coding.
- **Accounts Payable:**
- Process vendor invoices and prepare payment batches.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- **Accounts Receivable:**
- Generate and send customer invoices.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
- **Reconciliation:**
- Reconcile statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Record and reconcile petty cash transactions.
- **Financial Reporting:**
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide support for financial audits as needed.
- **Compliance:**
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations.
- **Assistance in Budgeting:**
- Collaborate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget-to-actual variances and report findings.
- **General Administrative Support:**
- Assist in various administrative tasks within the finance department.
- Support senior accountants and financial managers as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Experience:**
- Entry-level position; prior internship or relevant coursework is a plus.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- **Communication:**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and communicate with external stakeholders.
- **Detail-Oriented:**
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- **Adaptability:**
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
