Spacetech Engineering is seeking an Jr.
Structural Engineer to lead structural design,
analysis, and assessment activities for villa, warehouse, and commercial construction projects.
The
ideal candidate will have strong expertise in structural designs & the ability to prepare
comprehensive structural reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis for villa, warehouse, commercial, and residential projects using reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structural systems.
- Conduct structural modelling and analysis using industry-standard software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, or similar) for gravity, lateral, and seismic loads.
- Design foundations including shallow foundations, deep foundations (piles), raft foundations, and retaining structures based on geotechnical recommendations.
- Develop structural design reports, calculation packages, and technical specifications in compliance with UAE codes and international standards (ACI, BS, Eurocodes).
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, geotechnical engineers, and clients to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Prepare structural drawings and documentation for Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and other UAE authority approvals.
- Ensure all structural designs comply with UAE building codes, fire safety requirements, and accessibility standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 1-3 years of progressive experience in structural design and structural assessment. UAE experience is preferrable.
- Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software: ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit Structure, and MS Office applications.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
