Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Payroll Accountant to support end-to-end payroll operations.
The role requires strong execution discipline, compliance awareness, and the ability to manage payroll processes in alignment with Qatar Labor Law and internal governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform **timecard verification** to ensure accuracy of attendance, working hours, and payroll inputs
- Process payroll in compliance with the **Wage Protection System (WPS)** requirements
- Monitor and calculate **Overtime (OT)** and **Holiday Overtime (HOT)** accurately
- Manage **leave salary calculations**, including interim settlements and final settlements
- Ensure payroll data integrity, reconciliation, and timely reporting
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with audit requirements
- Support **monthly payroll closing activities** and variance analysis
- Coordinate with HR and operations teams for attendance, leave, and employee data validation
- Ensure full compliance with **Qatar Labor Law**, including benefits, deductions, and statutory requirements
- Assist in handling employee payroll-related queries in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in payroll or accounting (GCC experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of **WPS payroll processing**
- Working knowledge of **Qatar Labor Law**
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll systems
- High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: **QAR 1,500 – QAR 2,000** (based on experience)

Working Schedule
- **6 days a week**
