YOUR MISSION
Your mission as Full Stack Java Engineer at Clairvoyant is to build full-stack web applications. This includes frontend and backend of web development using modern Javascript and Java frameworks. You will design and implement backend web services, troubleshoot web applications, write unit tests, and develop the frontend as needed. Your mission is also to be passionate about your job and your skill sets, support and follow company policies, and help hire other engineers like you. Consequently, it is also part of your mission to continue learning and growing with us through our many learning programs available.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build modern web applications based on Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate), Javascript (Angularjs, React/Redux, Node.js), HTML, and CSS expertise
- Strong experience in developing with Spring MVC framework, Spring Core, Spring Security and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience in developing with Hibernate (Hibernate ORM, Hibernate Search, Hibernate Valiator, etc)
- Excellent practical object-oriented software design skills.
- Strong expertise with Core Java, Design patterns, and advanced data structures/algorithms at minimum
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
- Experience developing complex data-driven server-side software in Java.
- Know-How and Hands-on with AWS services and deployments
- Significant experience developing effective APIs, RESTful services, Microservices design, and development.
- Proficient in SQL and complex relational database design.
- Practical experience, as well as a deep understanding of service-side and middle-tier technologies, is a must: middle-tier frameworks, caching strategies/solutions, messaging/queuing.
- Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing, dynamic environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills are expected
- Preferred to Have: Familiarity with Web 2.0 technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and React desired.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1+ years of training or industry experience
- 1-2 years of experience in the industry is preferred
- Evidence of a history of passion towards learning
- Ability to problem-solve and talk about problems.
