JR. CIVIL ENGINEER

Role overview

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of relevant civil engineering experience in GCC countries and at least 1 year of relevant experience in Qatar are mandatory.
• Previous oil and gas industry experience is required.
• Good knowledge of civil construction, site activities, engineering practices, site supervision, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and understand civil drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Good communication and coordination skills; ability to work effectively in a site-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and coordinating civil construction activities at the project site.
• Monitor site work for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and other project teams.
• Check work quality and progress, report issues to senior engineers, and review drawings and technical documents.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Follow oil and gas safety standards and site procedures; support inspections, measurements, material checks, and other site engineering activities.
• Perform other civil engineering duties assigned by the Senior or Project Engineer.

Duration

• The assignment is six months and extendable.

Pay

• Pay is QAR 4,000–4,500 per month.

• Work location is in person.
