Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Joint Venture Accountant to join our finance team in Doha. This role is responsible for managing accounting, reporting, and financial governance for joint venture arrangements. You will ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance across partner agreements while supporting strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for joint venture (JV) entities and partnerships
• Prepare consolidated and JV-specific financial statements and reports
• Monitor revenue sharing, cost allocations, and profit distribution in line with JV agreements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and contractual JV accounting requirements
• Reconcile intercompany and partner balances on a regular basis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for JV operations
• Liaise with partners, auditors, and internal stakeholders on JV financial matters
• Assist in audits and ensure proper documentation of all JV transactions
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in JV financial records

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
• 3–6 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to joint ventures or multi-entity structures
• Strong understanding of IFRS and partnership accounting principles
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience is an advantage)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
