POSITION:** Joinery Workshop Production Manager
The Joinery Workshop Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all workshop production activities to ensure that joinery products are manufactured efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with required quality standards and project specifications.

1. Production Planning & Scheduling
Develop and implement production schedules based on project timelines and priorities.
Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure smooth workflow from drawing approval to delivery.
Monitor daily production output and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
2. Workshop Operations Management
Oversee all workshop activities including cutting, machining, assembling, finishing, and packing.
**Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.** Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
3. Team Supervision
**Manage carpenters, machine operators, polishers, and supervisors.** Conduct daily toolbox meetings and provide clear work instructions. **Evaluate staff performance and recommend training or disciplinary actions when necessary.**
4. Quality Control
Ensure all joinery products meet approved shop drawings, specifications, and company quality standards.
Coordinate with QA/QC team to conduct inspections at each production stage.
Implement corrective actions for defects or non-conformances.
5. Material & Inventory Management
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of timber, laminates, hardware, and finishing materials.
Monitor stock levels and minimize wastage through proper planning and cutting optimization.
6. Coordination with Other Departments
**Work closely with:** Design team for shop drawing clarification **Procurement for material availability**
Site teams for delivery scheduling and installation sequencing
7. Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE safety regulations.
Enforce proper use of PPE and safe operation of woodworking machinery.
8. Cost Control & Productivity
Track production costs, labor productivity, and material usage.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing processes
Experience
8–12 years of experience in joinery manufacturing.
Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role in a joinery workshop within the UAE/GCC.
