Overview
- Supervise complete joinery manufacturing operations from raw material to final product
- Manage carpenters, painters, machine operators, polishers, installers, and helpers within the factory
- Divide factory workers into organized teams/groups according to production requirements and deadlines
- Monitor daily productivity and track progress of each team during manufacturing stages
- Plan manufacturing timelines and ensure projects are completed within target schedules
- Evaluate workers’ skills, performance, speed, workmanship quality, discipline, and productivity
- Participate in hiring carpenters, painters, and factory workers by testing and evaluating their practical skills
- Train and guide workers to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow organization
- Read and understand shop drawings, production drawings, cutting lists, and technical details
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Monitor factory workflow and identify production delays or operational problems
- Ensure all joinery items meet approved specifications and quality standards before delivery
- Supervise painting, polishing, veneer, laminate, assembly, and finishing works
- Ensure proper usage of materials and reduce manufacturing waste
- Manage manpower allocation according to project priorities and delivery schedules
- Prepare daily production reports and manpower progress reports
- Ensure factory discipline, safety regulations, and proper machine usage are followed
- Improve production efficiency, factory organization, and operational systems
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery manufacturing or interior fit-out industry
- Strong experience managing carpenters, painters, and factory labor teams
- Ability to evaluate skilled workers during hiring and production stages
- Strong understanding of joinery production planning and time management
- Ability to organize workers into production groups and monitor their performance
- Good knowledge of joinery materials, woodworking machinery, painting, polishing, and finishing works
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings independently
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- UAE experience
- UAE Driving License is an advantage
- Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
