Day & Night Company for Contracting and Rental Equipment is expanding into solar energy for farms, factories, and commercial facilities.
The Riyadh-based role combines solar solution design, technical client engagement, and taking deals through to contract signing.
The role reports to the Sales Director.
Responsibilities
- Visit client sites, assess loads and energy needs, and size on-grid, off-grid, hybrid, battery, generator, and irrigation solar-pumping systems.
- Prepare designs, single-line diagrams, yield and savings/payback calculations, bills of quantities, and technical proposals.
- Present and defend proposals to client engineers and decision-makers; follow up through contract signing.
- Source and compare solar panels, inverters, batteries, and cables by price, quality, and specifications.
- Coordinate with installation partners and commissioning teams to deliver on time and to specification.
- Track markets and competitors, represent the company at agricultural and industrial events, and report to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years in the solar market, including preparing proposals from site assessment through quotation.
- Hands-on with PVsyst or similar and AutoCAD; able to read electrical drawings.
- Good knowledge of solar components, pricing, and the Saudi supplier market.
- Fluent spoken and written Arabic and English.
- Strong client communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with farms, agriculture, or solar water pumping.
- Battery storage or hybrid system experience.
- Existing supplier and agent relationships in the Kingdom.
- Saudi Council of Engineers membership, a valid driving licence, and willingness to travel across regions.
