Basic Qualifications
- (What are the skills required for this job with minimum years of experience on each) Minimum 5+ years of overall experience in software development, enterprise application development, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. Minimum 5+ years of experience designing and developing microservices-based applications. Minimum 5+ years of experience developing and executing unit tests and integration tests. Minimum 5+ years of experience working with relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Oracle. Minimum 5+ years of experience working with NoSQL database technologies such as MongoDB. Minimum 5+ years of experience with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka. Minimum 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Minimum 5+ years of experience developing front-end applications using React or comparable JavaScript frameworks. Minimum 5+ years of experience with cloud-native application design and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and/or OpenShift. Minimum 5+ years of experience applying microservices design principles and distributed systems architecture. Minimum 5+ years of experience working across Unix, Linux, and/or Windows environments. Minimum 5+ years of experience participating in customer discussions, technical solution reviews, code reviews, and application-delivery activities. Minimum 5+ years of experience troubleshooting enterprise applications, integrations, databases, messaging systems, and related technical issues. Strong verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
Nice to Have
- (But not a must) Experience working within Agile software-development methodologies. Experience using Jira for backlog, issue, or delivery tracking. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes. Experience with Docker and OpenShift. Experience developing applications for AWS or other cloud environments. Broader experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka-based integrations. #LI-NorthAmerica NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $75,640.00 - $113,460.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
