Role overview

Mandatory skills

• Java 8+, backend unit testing with JUnit, data structures, microservices, REST APIs, multithreading and concurrency, and object-oriented concepts are mandatory.
• JPA, Kafka, GitHub, MS SQL, Spring Boot, and Spring Security with JWT are mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications with Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integrations for distributed systems; develop reusable backend components and enterprise services.
• Optimize applications through caching, asynchronous processing, database tuning, and JVM optimization.
• Own module delivery from design and development through testing support and deployment readiness; conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, design event-driven and asynchronous systems, and improve CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot production and performance issues through root-cause analysis and sustainable fixes; mentor junior developers.
