Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Microservices Developer to design and build scalable backend systems using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and preferably experience within the banking or financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and enhance secure RESTful APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensure system performance, scalability, reliability, and security
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Solid experience in building and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Git and container platforms (e.g., OpenShift)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services environments
- Understanding of secure coding practices and enterprise application development
