Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop application components using Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and related technologies.
• Build maintainable, reusable, testable code that follows architecture, security, development, and accessibility standards.
• Deploy code to development and test environments and follow release and configuration-management processes.
• Perform unit tests, support integration and system testing, analyze defects, and deliver fixes.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and environment issues and support root-cause resolution.
• Participate in code and design reviews, sprint ceremonies, technical discussions, and improvement activities.
• Support releases, production validation, maintenance, and operational issue resolution.
• Translate functional requirements into secure, maintainable solutions and collaborate with multidisciplinary partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2–3 years of Java development experience, including enterprise applications using Java and J2EE.
• Hands-on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience; strong SQL, relational data, and database management knowledge.
• Experience building frontend and backend enterprise web application components.
• Experience with object-oriented design, service integration, application architecture, and secure coding.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts and responsible use of AI-enabled tools in software delivery.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps; experience with testing, debugging, build and deployment, CI/CD, and Git or comparable source control.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, documentation, communication, teamwork, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
