Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Java Developer to work on a contractual basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications, working on a platform known as Micro1.

This role is crucial as it involves contributing to the development of high-quality software solutions, and the candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, applying their technical expertise to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing Java-based applications, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • The successful candidate will work on the Micro1 platform, utilizing their Java skills to develop and maintain software applications.
  • The Java Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely and effective delivery of software solutions.
  • The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of Java-based applications.
  • The Java Developer will participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • The candidate should have strong proficiency in Java programming language, with experience in developing and maintaining Java-based applications.
  • The successful candidate should have experience working with the Micro1 platform, or similar technologies, and be able to quickly adapt to new tools and systems.
  • The Java Developer should have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • The candidate should have strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • The Java Developer should have a strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment.
