Role purpose

Use the required programming language to write, update, and maintain programs for specific tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, potentially using Spring Boot or Hibernate; write clean, scalable, documented code.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and microservices, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in CI/CD using Jenkins or GitLab; deploy to Dev, QA, UAT, and production environments.
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes; support release cycles and rollback strategies.
  • Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL queries using databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, or MongoDB.
  • Perform migrations, preserve data integrity, and tune performance through indexes and query optimization.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, business analysts, and stakeholders; take part in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical documentation.
