IT Trainer

Program Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver theory and practical training in computer fundamentals and software development.
• Teach programming basics using Python, Java, JavaScript, or an equivalent language.
• Teach HTML, CSS, basic web development, database concepts, and basic SQL operations.
• Guide students in writing, testing, and debugging simple programs.
• Conduct assessments and practical exams and maintain trainee records.
• Follow NSDC/SSC curriculum, session plans, and assessment standards.
• Maintain the computer lab, systems, software, and training materials.
• Support employability skills, project work, reporting, compliance, and mobilization activities.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of computer fundamentals and programming concepts.
• Practical teaching and demonstration skills.
• Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to maintain reports and documentation.
• Willingness to work with youth and beginners.
• Ability to deliver both theory and practical sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

• BCA, B.Tech, B.Sc. in IT or Computer Science, MCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Computer Trainer or Junior Software Developer is preferred.
• Experience in skill development or NSDC projects is preferred.
• ToT or trainer certification is advantageous.
• Prior experience in skill development or CSR projects is advantageous.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹24,000 to ₹25,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work is performed in person at the training location.
• Candidates should be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Sohna, Haryana.
