IT Systems Engineer

Zodia Markets is a regulated institutional digital-asset brokerage backed by SC Ventures (the innovation and ventures arm of Standard Chartered, our majority shareholder).

We provide institutional clients with stablecoin FX execution, liquidity and near-instant cross-border settlement across multiple stablecoins and 20+ fiat currencies.

Having found strong product-market fit for corporate stablecoin payments, we are now scaling that into our core focus area, underpinned by a scalable technology platform built to run it at institutional scale.

As financial markets move toward always-on, programmable infrastructure, we believe institutions should be able to move capital globally with the same speed and ease as information — and we are building the regulated infrastructure to make that possible.

Today we serve banks, asset managers, hedge funds, payment providers, corporates and digital-asset institutions globally — institutional counterparties only, never retail.

The team is 60 people: a mid-sized regulated financial institution, not an early-stage startup.

Job requirements

• Administer and secure a hybrid, multi-platform ecosystem covering user endpoints, servers, and BYOD devices using mobile device management solutions alongside enterprise internet security suites and Zero Trust network access platforms.

• Manage identity and access controls across core cloud tools, including identity providers and single sign-on platforms, online office suites, enterprise AI applications, internal communication tools, CRM software, legal document systems, and regulatory archiving platforms.

• Monitor, triage, and manage system alerts using incident response platforms to swiftly resolve service interruptions and security incidents following standard ITIL incident management practices.

• Maintain system configurations to uphold strict organisational compliance frameworks while carrying out onboarding and offboarding access workflows.

• Deliver technical support, resolve network and access issues, and author comprehensive internal knowledge base documentation for end users.

Job responsibilities

• 3-5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration supporting macOS, Windows, and Linux environments alongside BYOD policies.

• Proven experience administering IDP/SSO platforms (e.g., Okta, Entra ID, JumpCloud), MDM tools (e.g., Jamf, Intune, Kandji), internet security suites (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender), and secure remote access tools (e.g., Zscaler, Cloudflare One, Cisco Umbrella).

• Strong foundational knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs), Zero Trust architecture, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

• ITIL Foundation certification or formal training in IT service management processes would be advantageous. Hands-on experience managing SaaS tools, including productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), communication platforms (e.g., Slack, Teams), legal document platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Ironclad), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM), enterprise AI tools (e.g., M365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), regulatory archiving systems (e.g., Global Relay, Smarsh, Mimecast, Enterprise Vault), and incident response tools (e.g., PagerDuty, Opsgenie) aligned with ITIL framework processes. Hands-on experience executing or supporting cross-platform cloud migrations between Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Hands-on experience writing scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) or building workflow automations (e.g., Zapier, Workato, Okta Workflows) to streamline routine IT operations.
