Part-time, remote IT Systems Administrator role at ACTIVE Gestion.

Responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's technology infrastructure.

Manage servers and user accounts and monitor system performance.
Apply updates and patches to support system stability and security.
Provide remote technical support, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and document procedures and resolutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve system reliability, implement best practices, and support IT projects and initiatives.

Strong system administration skills, including operating systems, user permissions, backups, and security configurations.
Proficiency in network administration, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and basic network performance monitoring.
Experience with remote technical support, incident tracking, and user training.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
Foundation in IT principles, cybersecurity awareness, and IT best practices.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication for documentation and user interaction.

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Linux certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
