About the role
Deliver frontline IT support and technical solutions as a client-facing member of the technology team.
The operational base is Abu Dhabi; the role is hybrid, with remote work from home and regular client-site visits.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for inquiries and issues reported through the service desk, email, and phone.
- Visit client locations to install and configure systems and troubleshoot hardware and software incidents.
- Advise on IT infrastructure, system assemblies, software setup, and peripheral connectivity.
- Resolve issues involving Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, and basic network connectivity.
- Provide first-line support, conduct root cause analysis and software testing, and document troubleshooting steps.
- Log, track, and update service requests in the ticketing platform.
- Build client and business-partner relationships; collaborate with sales and technical teams.
- Execute product implementations, system upgrades, and configuration changes; continue developing technical expertise.
Essential qualifications and skills
- Relevant degree, diploma, or professional certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of hands-on client-facing IT support experience in the UAE or GCC.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and networked printers; strong PC diagnostics and problem resolution skills.
- Foundational knowledge of Exchange or similar email server administration and mobile email technologies.
- Practical experience with Windows OS, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Microsoft 365.
- Professional fluency in spoken and written English; must currently reside in the UAE.
- Mac OS familiarity is a plus. Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar industry-recognised certifications are listed.
- A UAE driving license and a car are advantageous.
