Education and Experience
- Equivalent to completion of two years of college-level coursework in computer science, information technology or a related field and two years of general computer installation, maintenance and repair experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
- Licenses of Certifications
- Must possess a valid Mississippi Driver’s License. A+ and Microsoft certifications preferred.
- Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 50+ pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting kneeling, and stooping to perform the essential functions. Working conditions will also including climbing ladders, using mechanical lifts, and entering/operating in confined spaces. These employees are also subject to call out for emergency situations with the potential of weekend and night shifts.
