Role overview

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and diagnose and troubleshoot desktop computer problems.
• Set up and maintain workstations and peripherals; handle printer configuration, maintenance, and connectivity issues.
• Document incidents and solutions and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Contribute to basic IT process improvements and user training.
• Collaborate with internal teams, communicate clearly with non-technical users, and follow company IT policies and security standards.

Qualifications

• Provide effective technical support and troubleshooting for end users in a hybrid environment.
• Have foundational IT knowledge, including operating systems, networks, and common business applications.
• Have hands-on desktop computer experience, including installation, configuration, and basic hardware upgrades.
• Have practical printer-support experience with setup, connectivity, drivers, and routine maintenance.
• Have clear verbal and written English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time in a part-time schedule; work independently and with a team.
• Understand basic cybersecurity practices and safe handling of user data and credentials.
• Relevant certification such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation, or ongoing IT-related studies, is preferred.

Workplace and schedule

• The role is part-time and hybrid, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities in Abu Dhabi Emirate, UAE.
