IT Support Engineer

Role overview

Work setup and duration

• The work setup is onsite in Dubai, UAE.
• The initial project duration is 12 months, described as a rolling contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line support for hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Manage mobile-device enrollment, configuration, policy deployment, and troubleshooting through MDM platforms.
• Administer Active Directory accounts, password resets, group memberships, and access permissions.
• Log, prioritize, and resolve support tickets, escalating complex issues to appropriate technical teams.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and account provisioning.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records, troubleshooting steps, and support procedures.

What the role requires

• Relevant experience in L1/L2 IT support or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with MDM solutions and Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across end-user devices and common workplace applications.
• Understanding of basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Clear communication skills and a service-focused approach.
• Ability to work onsite in Dubai.
• Arabic language skills are preferred.
