Scope of Work
We require an onsite engineer to perform
asset validation, inventory updates, and network device checks
at the Abu Dhabi site.
Tasks to Perform
1.
Inventory Validation & Update
- Validate all assets from the provided inventory list (approx. 512 assets)
- Update the following columns:
- **Stock Room Name**
- (location of asset: IT Store, Server Room, etc.)
- **Validated (Yes/No)**
- **Remarks**
- (mandatory if “No”)
- ✅ Guidelines:
- If
- Validated \= Yes
- → Stock Room Name must be filled
- If
- Validated \= No
- → Clear reason must be mentioned (e.g., WFH, user not available, asset not found)

Additional Devices Documentation
- Record devices not listed in the inventory
- Capture details such as:
- Device type (laptop, router, monitor, etc.)
- Make & model
- Serial number / Asset tag (if available)
- Location / stock room
- Status (in use / spare / idle)
- Remarks
- 3.
Node Device Health Check
- Verify if the Node device is working properly
- If not working, identify the issue:
- Power failure
- Hardware failure
- Site maintenance
- Capture and share clear photos of the Node device
- 4.
Router & Modem Verification
- Check power status of router and modem
- Verify all cable connections
- Check LED/status indicators
- Capture clear photos of:
- Router
• Modem / NTU
- Connected cables
Requirements / Tools to Carry
- Laptop with internet connectivity
- Good-quality camera phone (for documentation)
- Basic networking tools (recommended)
Important Note
- Technician must be proficient in
- local language and English
- Must be detail-oriented for accurate inventory updates
- Clear photo documentation is mandatory
- Experience in IT asset validation / network checks preferred
- Immediate availability preferred
