Overview
An IT Support Engineer ensures the smooth operation of an organization’s IT systems by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while providing technical support to users.

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting and Technical Support: IT Support Engineers diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, assisting users via phone, email, chat, or in-person to maintain productivity and business continuity.
System Installation and Configuration: They install and configure computer systems, software applications, and peripherals according to company standards, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Network and Infrastructure Management: Support engineers assist with network connectivity issues, manage servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and telephony systems, and monitor IT infrastructure for optimal performance.
User Training and Assistance: They provide guidance and training to end-users on new systems, software, and hardware, helping employees use technology efficiently.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining records of software licenses, equipment, and IT processes, as well as generating system reports and conducting audits, is a key part of the role.
Security and Backup Management: IT Support Engineers implement security measures, backup strategies, and redundancy plans to protect organizational data.
Project Support: They may oversee IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), software applications, and networking concepts.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users and collaborate with teams.
Experience
Typically 1–2 years in IT support or a related technical role; a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi)
