The Job
Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation and templates (e.g., charters, closure reports, communication plans).
Track project milestones and deliverables using established project management tools.
Compile and distribute regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders.
Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas and capturing meeting notes.
Maintain project calendars and assist with resource scheduling.
Support risk and issue tracking by logging updates and escalating concerns to project managers.
Help ensure project documentation complies with organizational standards and procedures.
Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries and communications.
Assist with change request documentation and routing.
Provide administrative support to project managers, including document formatting, data entry, and follow-ups.
Use existing dashboards and tools to help visualize project timelines and workloads for leadership.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance and ethical standards.
The Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in project coordination for IT projects.
- Education or equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Experience with project management software (MS Project preferred).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Understanding of basic project management principles (PMP or CAPM certification is a plus but not required).
