About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and technology-driven
It Manager
to lead our Information Technology function and ensure the effective delivery, security, and continuous improvement of IT services across the organization.
In this role, you will oversee IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, technology projects, and support operations while working closely with leadership to align technology strategies with business objectives.
You will lead IT teams, manage vendors, and drive digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and business requirements.
- Manage IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
- Oversee IT operations, service delivery, and technical support functions.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, data protection, and IT risk management activities.
- Manage IT projects including system implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and services.
- Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, governance, and compliance standards.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and external partners.
- Monitor IT budgets, resources, and technology investments.
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT team members to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and system backup strategies.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Experience with cybersecurity principles, IT governance, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience managing IT projects and technology implementations.
- Knowledge of IT frameworks and best practices such as ITIL, ISO 27001, or COBIT is an advantage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft technologies, cloud services, ERP systems, and IT management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of
- 8 years
- of IT experience, including management or leadership responsibilities.
- Professional certifications such as
- ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Certified, AWS/Azure certifications
- , or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, support teams, cybersecurity, and technology projects.
- Previous experience working in the
- UAE or GCC region
- is preferred.
