Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
It Infrastructure Engineer
to manage, support, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure within a financial institution regulated by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
The role requires strong hands-on experience in servers, networks, virtualization, and infrastructure security, ensuring system stability, high availability, business continuity, and secure operations across all branches.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers and virtual environments.
- Administer and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure services.
- Manage and optimize network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and VLAN segmentation.
- Oversee network security controls, including firewalls, access controls, and infrastructure hardening.
- Support and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure hybrid environments.
- Manage backup systems and disaster recovery (DR) plans.
- Implement patch management and system updates in accordance with compliance requirements.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the Information Security team to address vulnerabilities and regulatory observations.
- Support compliance and audit requirements related to technology controls and SAMA regulations.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to support infrastructure operations and improvements.
- Contribute to infrastructure documentation, standards, and operational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or a similar role.
- Strong experience in servers, enterprise infrastructure, and network administration.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server and Active Directory
- VMware or Hyper-V
- Fortigate Firewalls
- Microsoft 365 and Azure
- LAN/WAN technologies and VLANs
- Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resilience.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and IT governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- ITIL Foundation
- Fortinet Certifications are a plus
