  • Create architecture plans, roadmaps, and technical standards, and coordinate their implementation across national and international teams.
  • Guide implementation and service providers; contribute hands-on from solution development and testing through production rollout.
  • Prototype and assess new technologies and solutions for their potential business value.
  • Improve infrastructure operations and support analysis and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Contribute to cross-functional IT projects, aligning architecture, implementation, and operations.
  • Address security, availability, performance, scalability, backup, and disaster recovery in architecture concepts.
  • Develop infrastructure and architecture management processes and structures.

Qualifications and experience

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification; additional IT training or a related degree is ideal.
  • Several years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT architecture, or IT consulting, including complex IT project implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure; AWS specialization is ideal.
  • Familiarity with network architectures, Identity and Access Management, and platforms such as EC2, ECS, and RDS.
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience, particularly Terraform, and backup and disaster recovery knowledge are ideal.

Professional capabilities

  • Translate technical requirements into scalable, future-ready architecture concepts and understand complex IT environments holistically.
  • Apply strategic, structured, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking; understand information security and security-by-design.
  • Learn new technologies quickly, take on technical responsibilities, and communicate complex topics clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Very good German (C1) and good English (B2).
